When the moon has gone to bed
When the sparrow stops her singing
And the sky is clear and red"
We have the most beautiful backyard! Which is misty & mysterious a lot of the time.... :)
Above is a song I often sing to Oliver, inspired by our frequent misty mornings.
We decided to make this a Forest Grove day.
First off, the library!
Thanks Bruce!
Some interesting finds....
But Oliver wanted to head to the children's section...
Next we stopped at the new bakery in town.
We tried a loaf of their buttercrust bread, a scone and a sugar cookie.
And a few of their cakes were on display!
Next we shopped at Fred Meyer.
Groceries! Oh boy! What flavor will my milk be this week!?
Then on to,,,,
... for lunch at the Ironwork Grill!
We had cajun tots, seafood chowder, lemongrass chicken sandwich and the eastern star dip.
And while we were eating, the sun came out.
What a great Forest Grove day!
Sounds like a fun day!
